The Bach Society travels two centuries of repertoire, beginning with Heinrich Schütz, considered to be the greatest composer of his day. Bach is represented by the magnificent motet Jesu Meine Freude and Cantata 105. From the so-called “Classical” period comes one of Haydn’s greatest masses, the St. Theresian. We welcome the return of tenor Stanley Warren as guest soloist.
